Paul Jacoby, a graduate of Sheldon Williams Collegiate in Regina, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B. Ed., 1972; B. A., 1975) in 1969.

Paul, a sharp shooting guard on teh Huskies basketball team for five seasons, was twice named a conference all-star in 1971-72 and 1974-75.

He was a backup quarterback to Dave Pickett on the football team in 1972.

As a tennis player, he won numerous provincial titles.

In 1974-75, Paul received the E. Kent Phillips Trophy as male athlete of the year at the University of Saskatchewan.
