University of Saskatchewan Athletics

Maureen (McDonald) Williamson, a graduate of Sion Academy in Saskatoon, enrolled at the University of Sasktchewan (B.A.) in 1963.

Maureen was a member of the University gymnastics team for four years, winning four consecutive team titles in the WCIAA. She was the all-around invididual champion each year.

In addition to competing in gymnastics, McDonald was on the diving team for two years and on the Puppette basketball team for one year.

She received a Major Athletic Award in 1966-67.

While at the university, Maureen represented Canada at the World Student Games and the Pan-Am Games.
