The women’s track & field team won back-to-back national championships in 1984-85 and 1985-86.

The 4X400-metre relay of Clara Wall, Lisa Kroll, Teresa Hlady and Gwen Wall needed a CIAU- record time of 3:47.19 to secure the 1985 championship. 

Just one year later, the experienced team claimed 50 points for the second straight national title and delivered a gold medal performance in the 4X400-metres once again to claim the championship. The group finished the 1986 championship winning four gold medals, two silver and one bronze.
