SASKATOON – Winners of five of their last six games, the University of Saskatchewan Huskies men's hockey team are set to welcome the Manitoba Bisons to Merlis Belsher Place for a two-game series.
The Huskies are currently fourth in the conference, sitting on 12-points through 10 games with a record of 5-3-1-2. Just one-point behind Saskatchewan are the Bisons who have a record of 5-4-2-1.
Coming off a bye, Saskatchewan was last in action on November 1 and 2, when they defeated the UBC Thunderbirds by scores of 4-0 and 4-3 in Vancouver.
Manitoba meanwhile are coming off a split with the Regina Cougars. Manitoba took the first game by a score of 4-3 before dropping the second contest 2-3 in a shootout.
This will be the first meetings between the teams in the 2019-20 season while the Huskies went a perfect 4-0 against the Bisons last year.
