Huskie Athlete of the Week (Oct 16, 2019):

Second-year forward Layne Young played a big role for the Huskies last weekend.

The agriculture & bioresources student from Frenchman Butte tallied an important tying goal to send the game into overtime against the Alberta Golden Bears on Saturday, giving him two goals in four games this season.

The 2017-18 SJHL Player of the Year is third on the team with eight shots on goal and second in +/- through the start of the season.

Young and the Huskies are back at home this weekend for games against the Lethbridge Pronghorns (Oct. 18 & 19).
