"Hats off to the men's squad," said Huskie Cross Country head coach
Jason Reindl. "The leadership and commitment from the team overall was amazing all season. The goal was to get back on the podium after 22 years and not only did these guys do that but were 1pt out of second and only 20pts from 1st which is by far our best results in a long time and a huge accomplishment."
On the women's side,

Jenica Swartz would make it two Saskatchewan all-stars with time of 30:48.35, finishing in 10th. The remaining three Huskie scorers would be

"Our women's team ran hard today," continued Reindl. "We have had some unfortunate injuries this year and as such our team placing wasn't what we wanted when we set our team goals for the year. But our ladies ran as hard as they could and to get two conference all-stars is something that we can celebrate around".
The Huskies also saw two major award winners in Camrose in
Kaiden Deck and
Jaira Cross Child who were each recognized as the Canada West Student-Athlete Community Service award winners for their athletic excellence, community service, and academic success.
