Here are transcriptions from some of the best sound bites from the press conference:

Flory on what he anticipates the atmosphere to be like at CEPSUM:

"I'm fortunate enough to have practiced a couple of times at CEPSUM as a player, so I've been to the stadium before. They're not going to like us. They're going to be cheering for their hometown team," he said.

"We expect a hostile environment. That's what happens when you go on the road. We're down to the final four. This is a great football team with a great fan base. For us we just live in our little bubble, with 48 guys and coaches and we're just going to go play football."

Flory on being on the opposite sidelines of former teammate and current Carabins offensive coordinator Anthony Calvillo:

"We've just been texting back-and-forth.He's a good friend of mine, we played 15 years together. Our families are close and all that stuff. I love the guy and I protected him for  15 years. I occasionally did not bad, but he was much better, so he was a pretty easy guy to play for," he said.

"Listen, understand I'm not playing Anthony. But I think what he does for his team from an offensive standpoint; how he sets them up and how he calls the game, I see him in that. He's smart, prepared, and a very good coach. You can just tell they are incredibly well-coached and they wouldn't be in this game if they weren't."

"He sees it through a different lens than I do, and we're both coordinating for our teams. The structure is probably not dissimilar because we have a lot of the same influences."

Nyhus on the atmosphere at CEPSUM:

"Obviously, we've prepared for it. We've put together a good game plan — pre-snap and everything like that — we know it's going to be hostile. I think we're ready for it. It should be fun."

Machart on the forecast for below-zero at kickoff:

"We're used to cold weather out in Saskatchewan. This is summer for us right now, we're going to be ready for it."

Carabins head coach Marco Iadeluca on what Canada West football is known for across the country:

"I think it's known for physical football. They always have some huge offensive and defensive lines. They like to establish as we've seen in this team. So obviously the line of scrimmage is going to be a good test for us," he said.

"I think like in every game, if we can control the line of scrimmage or they control the line of scrimmage, whichever team manages to win that battle should have the upper-hand."

Iadeluca on similarities and differences he's noticed between the Huskies and Carabins:

"I think there's some similarities, but some differences as well. I think they like to run the football, but they like to pound it. I think we'd like to use our speed a little bit more and dump the ball here and there," he said.

"I think there are two well-balanced offences, which makes it hard. I think that's why both teams are here at this point in time. There's four teams left out of 27. I've always said, if you have a balanced attack, it makes it way tougher defensively to play certain teams.  I think that's what you see. Or the two teams that are in front of you."

The Huskies take on the Carabins in Montréal on Saturday. Kick off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. CST, with the game being streamed on cbcsports.ca and the CBC Gem app.
