2026 Huskie Football Spring Camp

SASKATOON, Sask. - The journey back to the Vanier Cup has officially begun on the University of Saskatchewan campus, with Huskie Football returning to the turf at Griffiths Stadium in Nutrien Park for the 2026 edition of spring camp. 25 soon-to-be freshmen will take the field for the first time, joining forces with returning student-athletes for a trio of practices before the weekend culminates in the Green & White game.

2026 spring Camp kicked off Thursday morning (Apr. 30) with the Staybridge Suites & Holiday Inn Express University Dogs' Breakfast XXIV at Prairieland Park which featured all-star running back, Grey Cup winning coach, President and CEO of the Toronto Argonauts, Michael "Pinball" Clemons.

Dogs' Breakfast also featured Head Coach Scott Flory introduce the latest recruiting class which features 20 athletes from the province of Saskatchewan, including eight local Saskatoon products. Of the teams to develop future Huskies, the Holy Cross Crusaders are responsible for four, the most of any high school or previous team. For the second consecutive year, a pair of players are once again set to join the Dogs from the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) coming from the Regina Thunder and Okanagan Sun. Finally, of the five recruits from out of province, three call Alberta home while two come from British Columbia.
