The team will take the pitch for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 15, with a training session that will kickstart the on-field portion of the camp.

The training camp will serve as an opportunity for the program's newly constructed roster take the pitch together, which will see a total of 27 players, including seven fresh faces and 20 returning players. The young Huskies core that head coach Jerson Barandica-Hamilton has constructed will continue to take shape, as the team will search for its eighth-consecutive playoff appearance.

The Great Plains Challenge in Regina will serve as the highlight of the camp, as the Huskies will take on the Calgary Dinos, Thompson Rivers WolfPack and the Manitoba Bisons in a series of exhibition games.

The Huskies will officially kick off their 2019 season away from home on Friday, Sept. 6 against the Bisons in Winnipeg, before completing the road swing the following day on Saturday, Sept. 6 in a match against the Winnipeg Wesmen.

The team's away schedule also sees the club take on Victoria (Sept. 20), UBC (Sept. 21), Lethbridge (Oct. 5), Mount Royal (Oct. 6), and Regina (Oct. 12).

Field 7 in Nutrien Park will once again play host to the team with the Huskies being set to play all seven of their 2019 home matches on the grass.

The Huskies will suit up for the first time at home on Saturday, Sept. 14, when they welcome the UNBC Timberwolves to town, before playing their second match in as many days against the visiting Calgary Dinos on Sunday, Sept. 15 in a rematch of last season's Canada West quarter-final, which saw the Huskies narrowly fall short against the Dinos by a score of 2-1.

Following the weekend on home soil, the Huskies will also welcome Winnipeg (Sept. 28) and Manitoba (Sept. 29) in a back-to-back, open a home-and-home series with Regina (Oct. 11), and close their regular season schedule at Field 7 against MacEwan (Oct. 19), and Alberta (Oct. 20).
