Among those selected were a pair of athletes from the Saskatchewan Huskies.
Maya Gabruch was named a First Team All-Star while
Halle Krynowsky was chosen for the All-Rookie Team.
Finishing the regular season with a record of 8-2-4, the Huskies are back in action this coming weekend when they host a Canada West Quarter-final match on Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
Leading the team with nine goals and 11 points, Gabruch had a historic season for the Huskies. Her nine goals were good enough to tie for second in the conference and also third most in program history for a single season. With 11 points, Gabruch is tied for fifth in program history for points in a single season.
Playing in all 14, and starting 13, games in her rookie season
Halle Krynowsky was rock-steady in defence while also posing a threat down the wing. The product of Calgary tallied twice and helped the team record five shutouts.
