  • The Huskies and T-Birds meet for the first time since the 2024 Hardy Cup Finals which saw the Dogs escape Vancouver with a 38-33 win thanks to two Saskatchewan majors in the final minute
  • The Dogs are coming off a strong Week One victory over Alberta which saw Ryker Frank score twice, Anton Amundrud throw for 248 yards and 3 TDs, and Seth Hundeby record his first career interception for a pick-six
  • The Thunderbirds are also coming off a Week One victory after defeating the No. 8-ranked Manitoba Bisons 21-9 at home thanks to an impressive performance from Eastern Michigan University transfer QB Drew Viotto who threw for 230 yards and 2 TDs
