Cross Country Heads to Canada West Championships
This weekend will also feature the first of the conference's championships in the Canada West Cross Country Championships set to take place at the Stoney Creek Centre in Camrose, Alberta and hosted by the University of Alberta.
An in-depth preview of this Saturday's Canada West Cross Country Championships will be released later this week.

Women's Soccer Travels to Victoria for Canada West Quarterfinal Matchup
The 2024 Canada West playoffs are here. The Saskatchewan Huskie women's soccer team, who finished 3rd in the Prairie Division with a 7-2-5 record, will head west and face off with the U SPORTS No. 9-ranked Victoria Vikes (7-2-5, 2nd in Pacific) in the Canada West Quarterfinals.

Huskie Football set to Close Out 2024 Regular Season in Calgary
Having already clinched a postseason berth, the Dogs will now head to McMahon Stadium in Calgary for a 2024 regular season finale against the Calgary Dinos. This will be the Huskies and Dinos second meeting of the season, with their first comeing back on Sept. 13 in Saskatoon which saw Saskatchewan capture a 44-40 victory in a thrilling double-overtime game.
The Huskies opponent in the Canada West semifinals is still yet to be decided and will come down to the UBC Thunderbirds and Manitoba Bisons Week 8 matchup. Currently the Dogs would be heading to Vancouver to face off with the 2nd-seeded T-Birds. UBC can still clinch the 1st overall seed however with a win against Manitoba and a 23-point margin of victory.

Men's Hockey Return to Merlis Belsher Place for First Time Sice October 4th
For the first time since their season-opener on October 4th, the Huskie Men's Hockey team will take the ice at Merlis Belsher Place for a regular season game. This weekend the Dogs will host the U SPORTS No. 3-ranked Mount Royal Cougars in another early-season test against one of the conference's strongest teams. The Cougars currently sit atop the West Division standing with a perfect record of 6-0-0 while the Dogs sit 2nd in the East with a record of 4-2-0. In Mount Royal, Saskatchewan also welcomes the reigning U SPORTS and Canada West Player of the Year and Goalie of the Year in Connor Bouchard and Shane Farkas.

Women's Hockey Takes First Road Trip of the Season
This weekend, Huskie women's hockey heads on the road for the first time since their season-opener in Regina on October 4th. The Dogs will head to Alberta for a weekend series against the U SPORTS No. 3-ranked Mount Royal Cougars who currently lead the conferences Prairie Division with a 5-0-1-0 record. Saskatchewan will be searching for the first win after coming off back-to-back losses to the Alberta Pandas.
