SASKATOON, SK – Coming off the tails of a 2-1 victory over the Thompson River WolfPack on Saturday, the Huskies welcomed another Pacific team out to Griffiths Stadium – UBCO Heat. After the back-and-forth offensive movement, the Heat came out on top. 
 
Historically, matches have gone in favor of the Dogs (5-1) but a hat trick from UBCO's Stefanie Young took this one from them. 
 
This first half was evenly matched with defensively with 8-7 shots in favor of the Heat. UBCO opened the scoring with an unassisted goal by Stefanie Young (12'). 
 
It wasn't until the pressure accumulated with another Stefanie Young to open the second half (48') that the Huskies would respond – Alyssa D'Agnone put SSK on the board with an assist from Nicole Burnett (50'). 
 
Solo scorer for the Heat, Stefanie Young, rounded out a triple goal afternoon in the 63^rd minute. This was quickly followed up again by Saskatchewan's solo scorer, Alyssa D'Agnone sending another ball into the back of UBCO's net in the 69^th minute. 
 
Despite a valiant effort the Huskies couldn't put any more points on the board and fell short of the win to close out their double header afternoon.
