SASKATOON – For the third time in three weeks the University of Saskatchewan Huskie football team will take to the field in a battle between two of the top ten teams in the nation when the No. 6 Huskies visit the No. 3 Calgary Dinos on Saturday, Sept. 29.
Both of these teams come into the weekend with momentum on their side after the Huskies
defeated their provincial rivals at home by a score of 33-20 last weekend, while the Dinos completed a season sweep of the UBC Thunderbirds on the road.
It will be the second time in three weeks that the Huskies and Dinos take the field, with Calgary picking up a
nine-point victory in Saskatoon on Sept. 14.
5 Things
1) This will be the Huskies' third top ten clash in a row. The Dinos rank third in the nation and Saskatchewan sixth.
2) The game marks the first of a two-game road swing for Saskatchewan who will next play in Griffiths Stadium on Oct. 20.
3) Saskatchewan was the biggest mover in the coaches Top 10 poll this week, jumping from ninth to sixth.
