REGULAR SEASON

Football:
Saturday, Oct. 20: vs. Manitoba Bison 2:00 p.m. Griffiths Stadium in Nutrien Park (Tickets / SaskTel maxTV / CJWW 600 / Watch Online / Live Stats)

Having fallen out of the U SPORTS Top 10 for the first time this season, the Huskies will look to get things back on track when they host the Manitoba Bisons on Saturday. The game between the 3-3 Huskies and 3-3 Bisons will have a monumental impact on the Canada West playoff picture.

After a pair of dramatic wins over the Calgary Dinos last weekend, The Huskies (3-1-0) will remain on the road to take on the Lethbridge Pronghorns (1-3-). Leah Bohlken and Bailee Bourassa sit in a tie for second in the conference with four points apiece.

Ranked as the second best team in the nation, the Huskies will spend another weekend in the friendly confines of Merlis Belsher Place. Saskatchewan (3-1-0) will host the Lethbridge Pronghorns (2-2-0).

There will be plenty of playoff implications when the Huskies travel to Manitoba this weekend. Currently in fifth place in the Prairie Division, Saskatchewan (2-6-4) will play the Manitoba Bisons (6-4-2) and Winnipeg Wesmen (0-8-4).

Playing their final games of the regular season, the Huskies will be battling for the right to host a playoff game. Saskatchewan (4-6-2), will host Mount Royal (4-7-1) and Calgary (5-6-1). Prior to the game on Sunday the Huskies will honour their five fifth-year players.

The Huskies will open their Canada West regular season on the road in Brandon in a battle between two teams that just barely missed out on the postseason last year.

The Huskies will open their Canada West regular season on the road in Brandon as they look to build on a 2017-18 season that saw them finish 10-14 and miss the playoffs by just two points.

The Huskies women's basketball will travel to Ryerson University in Toronto, ON, where they will compete in the Darcel Wright Memorial Classic, which will feature some of the top teams in the nation. Four of the eight programs who appeared in the 2018 U SPORTS Women's Basketball Championship will be competing at Ryerson this upcoming weekend.

The Huskies will host the Ron & Jane Graham Shootout at the PAC, which will serve as the team's final tune-up prior to the beginning of the Canada West regular season. Saskatchewan will be hoping to finish their preseason schedule strong before travelling to the University of British Columbia the following weekend to tangle with the Thunderbirds.
