Fifth-year captain Meagan Manson led the Huskies to back-to-back wins on the weekend with a pair of markers.

The centre back from Prince Albert, Sask. scored twice in Sunday’s 4-2 win over the Winnipeg Wesmen. Manson scored in added time of the first half to put the Huskies ahead 2-1. The Business student tallied again in the 63rd minute on a shot from outside of the box that stood up as the game winner.

In Friday’s 1-0 win over the Manitoba Bisons, Manson kept the Saskatchewan back line in order to preserve the shutout and earn the Huskies first win of the season.
