Huskie Athlete of the Week (October 31, 2016):

Second-year midfielder Jackson Wiegers recorded one goal and an assist to lead the Huskies to a 2-0 win over the Regina Cougars in a Canada West Prairie Division play-in Saturday afternoon.

Wiegers helped set up the opening goal of the match with a pass into the box to Taneil Gay. 

In the 60th minute, Wiegers gave the Huskies some insurance in the 70th minute to put the Huskies up for good.

Background: 

Favourite Huskie Moment - Our 2018 playoff run; coming in as the underdogs and beating UVic, while narrowly losing to Calgary in the Canwest Quarter-Final game.
