Huskie Athlete of the Week (October 3, 2016):

Fifth-year midfielder Erica Hindmarsh left her name all over the scoresheet on Sunday with a three point performance.

The Education student from Saskatoon, Sask. scored the opening goal of the match in the 11th minute with a long range free kick that bent into the top corner of the net. Hindmarsh then got her teammates involved in the second half with a pair of perfect crosses into the box that were both converted into goals to give the Huskies a commanding 3-0 advantage. Saskatchewan take the match to improve to 4-3-1.

In Saturday''s 1-1 draw with the No. 3 Calgary Dinos, Hindmarsh was a constant offensive threat recording two shots on goal in the match.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (November 2, 2015):

Fourth-year University of Saskatchewan midfielder Erica Hindmarsh played a role in all three Huskie goals on the weekend as they defeated the Lethbridge Pronghorns 3-0 in a Canada West quarter-final.

The Saskatoon, Sask. native assisted on the first Huskie goal with a perfect corner kick towards the back post. Just minutes later, Hindmarsh put another cross into the box that banked off of a Pronghorn defender and into the net. Helping the Huskies score three goals in eight minutes, the Arts & Science student found teammate Jenelle Zapski for the Huskies third goal.

With the win the Huskies earned the right to host the Canada West Select Six Nov. 5-8 in Saskatoon.
