Huskie Athlete of the Week (Jan 28, 2020):
Shae Beaulieu was all over the court this past weekend, racking up the digs and helping the Huskies to a sweep over their provincial rival Regina Cougars.

The product of Moose Jaw had back-to-back nights with over 25 digs as the Huskies moved one step closer to clinching a playoff spot for the first time in 15 years.

On Friday night the kinesiology major had 30 digs in the Huskies 3-1 victory over the Cougars as the team came back from an early one set disadvantage.

That play continued over to Saturday night where Beaulieu recorded a further 28 digs in the Huskies 3-2 victory.

The 58 digs were the most in a single weekend in Beaulieu’s Huskie career.

Next up for Beaulieu and the Huskies is a trip to Calgary to take on the Mount Royal Cougars, Jan. 31 – Feb. 1.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (Dec 3, 2018):
University of Saskatchewan libero Shae Beaulieu and her Huskie teammates were dominant over the weekend, winning a pair of matches inside their home gym.
On the weekend, the third year from Moose Jaw, recorded 39 digs as the Huskies swept the UBCO Heat
The Kinesiology student opened her weekend with 16 digs to help the Huskies to a 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 18-25, 25-21, 15-9) victory on Friday afternoon.
In another marathon 3-2 (25-15, 25-20, 20-25, 18-25, 15-10) victory on Saturday afternoon, the defensive specialist put up 23 digs.
Beaulieu and the Huskies will now take a well-earned winter break before they return to Canada West action on January 4.
