Huskie Athlete of the Week (January 18, 2016)

Fifth-year University of Saskatchewan guard Kelsey Trulsrud helped the No. 1 ranked Huskies improve their conference home winning streak to 28 games with a big weekend.

Trulsrud opened the weekend sweep of Lethbridge with a double-double on Friday night. The Saskatoon, Sask. native recorded 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Huskies and added three steals and a pair of assists in a 90-44 win.

On Saturday, the fifth-year Kinesiology student was efficient in her 27 minutes of court time. Trulsrud scored 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field in the Huskies 91-53 win. Trulsrud added another three rebounds, two assists and a steal to her weekend total.
