Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 18, 2020):
Mandi Fraser played a large part in the Huskies wrapping up their best regular season since 2002 with a sweep of the Manitoba Bisons this weekend.

The product of Saskatoon racked up19 kills, 12 blocks and a pair of service aces as the Huskies rolled to consecutive 3-1 victories.

On Friday night the education major willed her team back from an early deficit, scoring 13 kills on 24 attacks while also piling up four solo blocks and five block assists.
Â
That play continued over to Saturday night where Fraser recorded a further six kills, three blocks and four digs as the Huskies completed the weekend sweep.

Next up for Fraser and the Huskies is a trip to Edmonton where they will be back in the playoffs for the first time since 2001-02.
Huskie Athlete of the Week (Oct 21, 2019):
Second-year middle Mandi Fraser led the Huskies to a perfect start to their 2019-20 season last weekend.
The education major was instrumental in both of Saskatchewan’s victories, recording 23 kills and 10 blocks in the team’s wins of 3-1 and 3-0. Fraser was extremely efficient in the games recording just one error on the weekend and finishing seven of ten attacks on Saturday.
Saskatchewan is back in Saskatoon this weekend for their first home games of the season against the UBC T-Birds (Oct. 25-26).
