Huskie Athlete of the Week (Sep. 28, 2021):
Kuhle Bekwayo was instrumental in the Huskies men’s soccer six-point weekend. The talented second-year registered goals in back-to-back matches, leading Saskatchewan to 4-0 and 3-0 wins in the sweep over the visiting Lethbridge Pronghorns.
Huskie Athlete of the Week (Sept 2, 2019):
University of Saskatchewan midfielder Kuhle Bekwayo continued his steady play in the heart of midfield for the Huskies men’s soccer team last weekend.
The rookie from Saskatoon played in all 180 minutes of the Huskies’ weekend in losses to the Mount Royal Cougars (2-0) and Calgary Dinos (2-1). While Bekwayo was held off the scoresheet, the rookie peppered the opponents’ net, recording three shots on Saturday and two on Sunday while also creating opportunities for his teammates with incisive passes.
Bekwayo and the Huskies are back in action this coming weekend when they travel to face the Lethbridge Pronghorns (Sep. 7).
