Kent Kowalski has been a long-term figure with the Huskie men’s soccer program. He enters his 18th season as an assistant coach, working with the goal keepers.

Kent began his career with the Huskies as a keeper from 1988-92. During his time he was named a Canada West All-Star and a CIAU All-Canadian in 1989 and 1990. He started as an assistant coach with the team in 1996, leaving briefly in 1998 and returning in 2001. He played professional soccer with the Winnipeg Fury in the now defunct Canadian Soccer League from 1990-92.

In 2011, Kent was inducted into the University of Saskatchewan Athletic Wall of Fame.
