Fifth-year middle blocker Tyler Epp helped his team to a split with the UBC Okangan Heat on the road on the weekend to stay in the Canada West men''s volleyball postseason hunt.
In Friday''s 3-0 (25-20, 34-32, 25-23) loss, the Kinesiology student recorded nine kills, 12 points, two solo blocks and two assisted blocks. In the match, he had a .643 hitting percentage. A night later in a 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 34-32) win, Epp had 11 kills, four digs, one solo block and two block assists.
Epp and the No. 8 ranked Huskies return home to host the Calgary Dinos on the weekend.
