Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 3, 2020):
Logan McVeigh was all over the scoresheet for the Huskies this past weekend, helping the team move their winning streak to nine games.
The product of Kenaston scored a pair of goals and added an assist to help the Huskies move into a tie for first place in the conference.
On Friday night the agriculture & bioresources major had a pair of points, recording an assist in the second period before scoring the all-important game winning goal in double overtime in the Huskies 3-2 win.
McVeigh followed that up by scoring just over a minute into the second period on Saturday to help the Huskies climb back from a two-goal deficit en route to the 4-3 win.
Lehner and the Huskies will be back in action this weekend as they wrap up their regular season schedule with a home-and-home slate against the Regina Cougars.
