Huskie Athlete of the Week (Jan 6, 2019):
It was a milestone weekend for fourth-year outside hitter Emily Koshinsky, as she became just the fifth player in program history to break the 1,000 total points mark.
On Friday night Koshinsky came out swinging, racking up a team-high 12 kills and adding a service ace as the product of Jansen, SK is currently fourth in the conference in kills per set.
The kinesiology major followed that up with another 14 kills and a pair of blocks to help the Huskies to a 3-0 win and a salvage of a weekend split.
After a bye this coming weekend, Koshinsky and the Huskies will be back in action for a pair of games against the Winnipeg Wesmen inside the PAC, Jan. 17 & 18.

Canada West Third Star of the Week (October 23, 2018):
Emily Koshinsky got her 2018-19 Canada West campaign off to a dream start by leading the Saskatchewan Huskies to a weekend sweep over the Brandon Bobcats.

The Kinesiology major from Jansen was impressive both offensively and defensively in the team’s season-opening five-set victory on Friday, recording 22 kills and 16 digs.

Koshinsky was back at it the very next night. Her 19 kills and seven digs led the Huskies to a much more comfortable 3-0 victory. After the opening weekend of Canada West action, Koshinsky is tied for the conference lead with 41 kills and is 14th in digs with 23.
Huskie Athlete of the Week (Oct 23, 2018):
University of Saskatchewan outside-hitter Emily Koshinsky got her 2018-19 season off to a fantastic start in a sweep of the Brandon Bobcats.
The third year from Janes, SK tallied 41 kills, 23 digs and 4 aces over the weekend.
In Friday’'s 3-2 (25-20, 25-27, 28-30, 26-24, 15-11) win, the Kinesiology student recorded a match-high 22, 16 digs and two service aces. A night later in a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-20) win, Koshinsky recorded another match high 19 kills, 7 digs and two service aces.
Koshinsky and the Huskies have a bye next weekend before heading to Edmonton to play the MacEwan Griffins.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (January 8, 2017):
Second-year outside hitter Emily Koshinsky helped the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a weekend split with the Regina Cougars recording 39 kills and 30 digs in the weekend matchup.
In Friday''s 3-2 (19-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-16, 15-10) win, the Kinesiology student from Jansen, Sask., recorded a match high 16 kills assists, 20 digs, three blocks and two service aces. A night later in a 3-2Â (25-19, 25-22, 15-25, 19-25, 15-10) loss, Koshinsky recorded another match high 23 kills, 10 digs and two service aces.
Koshinsky and the Huskies remain at home to host the MacEwan Griffins on the weekend.
Huskie Athlete of the Week (December 4, 2017):
Second-year outside hitter Emily Koshinsky helped the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a weekend sweep of the Manitoba Bisons recording 31 kills and 21 digs in the two matches.
In Friday''s 3-1 (25-20, 7-25, 25-20, 25-21) win, the Kinesiology student from Jansen, Sask., recorded 12 kills, 14 digs and one block assist. A night later in a 3-1 (25-19, 17-25, 25-17, 25-19) win, she added nine kills, seven digs, five service aces and three block assists.
Koshinsky and the Huskies return to Canada West action January 5-6 at home against provincial rival the Regina Cougars.
