Huskie Athlete of the Week (November 28, 2016):
Fifth-year outside hitter Andrew Nelson helped lead the No. 8 Huskies to a weekend split with the Brandon Bobcats recording a combined 37 kills and 11 digs.
In Friday’s 3-1 (25-22, 25-17, 18-25, 25-19) loss, Nelson tallied 16 kills, six digs, one block assist and one service ace. A night later in a 3-1 (26-24, 21-25, 26-24, 25-21) win, the Kinesiology student from Regina recorded a match-high 21 kills, five digs, four block assists and one service ace.
Nelson and the No. 8 Huskies remain at home to host the Manitoba Bisons in a weekend series.
