Huskie Athlete of the Week (Dec 4, 2019):
Fourth-year setter CJ Gavlas was the key to a potent Huskie offence this weekend, helping Saskatchewan to a split with the Thompson Rivers WolfPack in a pair of five set battles.

The kinesiology major started his weekend with 43 assists and four kills on just six attempts along with 12 digs in the Huskies 3-2 loss to TRU.

The product of Saskatoon then followed that up with 42 assists, 11 kills and five blocks as the Huskies fought back to salvage a weekend split with TRU after defeating them 3-2.

Next up for Gavlas and the Huskies is the MacEwan Griffins, who Saskatchewan will host on January 3 and 4 after the winter break.
