Third-year forward John Lawrence helped the Saskatchewan Huskies grow their lead at the top of the Canada West standings with four points in a weekend sweep of the Lethbridge Pronghorns.

Lawrence scored the game-winner for the Huskies on Friday night, tallying third marker of the season late in the first period.

On Saturday, the Agriculture & Bioresources student notched a pair of goals and added an assist, finishing the night a +4 in a 7-3 win. Lawrence started the Huskie scoring burst with a short-handed goal eight minutes into the first period. The Neudale, Man. native bookended the Huskies scoring with a goal midway through the third.
