University of Saskatchewan receiver Samuel Baker had an outstanding start to the Canada West season last weekend.

The third year from Esterhazy, SK found the end zone twice in the Huskies’ season-opening 42-0 victory over the Alberta Golden Bears. Baker put up 107 yards, and two touchdowns of five receptions in the game

Baker and the Huskies are back in action this Friday, Sep. 7, on the road against the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg.
