OTTAWA, Ont. - The Concordia Stingers erupted for three third-period goals to defeat the Saskatchewan Huskies 3-0 on Saturday, securing a spot in the 2025 BioSteel U SPORTS University Cup championship game.
Julien Anctil broke the deadlock on the power play at 5:10 of the third, converting a feed from Sean Larochelle and Mathieu Bizier. Anctil added an insurance marker at 19:01 before Alexandre Nadeau sealed the win just 17 seconds later.
Goaltender Nikolas Hurtubise stopped all 19 shots he faced for the shutout as Concordia (3-0-0) controlled the pace, outshooting Saskatchewan 30-19.

With the win, Concordia advances to Sunday's championship final, while Saskatchewan will play Toronto Metropolitan for bronze Sunday morning at 11:00 AM local time (9:00 AM Sask time).
