UNBC jumped out to an early lead as Mehdi Bounaaja kicked off the scoring in the 9th minute by netting his 1st goal of the season on a crossing pass from teammate Isaac Tate.
Later in the half, the Huskies answered back to tie the score 1-1 thanks to a nice effort from

However, it did not take long for the visiting team to respond as James Jordan helped the Timberwolves regain a one goal advantage in the 36th minute of action. At the half, UNBC led the Huskies 2-1.
Coming out of the break, the Huskies controlled much of the offensive play by registering 3 shots in the first 10 minutes of the second half, but the T-Wolves maintained their lead thanks to a pair of saves from UNBC goalkeeper Logan Pierce.
The Dogs offensive tenacity would eventually be rewarded in the 63rd minute as
Rajesh Rodney was taken down in the box after an excellent long forward pass from teammate
Robert Mackay. This allowed
Ethan Cabral to set up at the spot and the 3rd year Huskie made no mistake, riffling home his team leading 4th goal of the season and tying the score 2-2.
Shortly after, UNBC again found a way to respond quickly as Conner Lewis notched his 2nd goal of the season on a header in the 70th minute, giving the T-Wolves a 3-2 lead.
With the home-side trailing, the Huskies made a strong push to earn the equalizer in the 74th minute.
Ethan Cabral issued a gorgeous left-footed cross into the box that was well-headed by teammate
Sergio Molina, but equally well defended on a goal-saving header by UNBC's Luke Graham.
The Huskies continued their offensive push in remaining minutes by registering 3 more shots on goal, but the Dogs could not find a way to solve the keeper Pierce, as he tailed a total of 10 saves on the afternoon.
The Huskies eventually fell to the prevailing T-Wolves by a final score of 3-2. Both clubs sit at the bottom of their respective divisions in the Canada West.
