SASKATOON – The Huskies and Griffins were back in action less than 24 hours after playing last night at the PAC.
For the second night in a row, it was the Huskies taking it to the Griffins with another straight set win.
The first set saw a 6-6 score through the first 12 points before the Huskies turned it on taking the set 25-12. The set was backed by a .353 attacking percentage while the MacEwan attack struggled with 8 errors.
The second set was all Saskatchewan where the Huskies put their foot on the throttle taking it 25-10 with 11 kills to the Griffins 4.
The third set saw the Griffins battle to extend the match keeping it tied until 11-11. The Dogs would go on to take over in the later portion of the set and swing their way to a 25-16 set win.

Dylan Mortensen had 11 kills apiece and had a team attacking percentage of .441. Aidan McLennan led MacEwan with 9 kills and had a team attacking percentage of .031.
Levi Olson thinks the team is gelling early. "I think we're starting to finally come together. It's pretty early in the season, but I think we're gelling well and we're doing some damage."
