EDMONTON – Canada West hockey's return to the ice is set for September 27, and October 4, as the conference released the 2019-20 men's and women's schedules Wednesday.

WOMEN'S //
MEN'S
As was the case last season, the men's campaign gets underway the last weekend of September, before the women's seasons open the first week of October.
Both the men's and women's regular seasons conclude February 8, 2020, with the conference quarter-finals set for the following weekend.
There are no changes coming to the conference playoffs, which will once again feature best-of-three series throughout, a first round bye for the top seeds, with the CW postseason culminating with the Canada West Finals Feb. 28 - March 1.
After a program-best 25 wins in the regular season last year, the Huskie men will get things started at Merlis Belsher Place with a pair of games against MRU (Sep. 27/28). Their other home dates in 2019 will be against Lethbridge (Oct. 18/19), Calgary (Oct. 25/26), Manitoba (Nov. 15/16) and Regina (Nov. 23). A weekend to circle for all U SPORTS hockey fans kicks off 2020, when Alberta visits town (Jan. 3/4). They also take on UBC (Jan. 24/25) before finishing their home slate against Regina (Feb. 7).
An important matchup against the team that narrowly defeated them in the conference semifinals last year kicks off the home portion of the schedule for the Huskie women, who play Alberta (Oct. 11/12), UBC (Nov. 8/9), Regina (Nov. 22) and MRU (Nov. 29/30) in 2019. The second half of their schedule will see them play seven home games. Lethbridge (Jan. 10/11), Calgary (Jan. 17/18), Manitoba (Jan. 31/Feb.1) and Regina (Feb. 8) will all visit Merlis Belsher Place.
2019-20 will mark the final season with only eight CW teams, as men's and women's hockey will expand in 2020-21 to 10 teams,
with the addition of Trinity Western University and MacEwan University.
Make sure you catch all the action inside Merlis Belsher Place by taking advantage of early bird pricing that runs until July 12. To watch all 28 games between the Huskie men and women, an adult season ticket package is just $400, while youth tickets are $182. For more information
