PREVIEW: Huskies return to action against T-Birds and Timberwolves

SASKATOON – Fresh off an early-season bye week, the University of Saskatchewan Huskie men's soccer team will return to action this coming weekend for games against the No. 5 ranked UBC Thunderbirds as well as the UNBC Timberwolves.
 
Both contests will take place on Field 7 inside Nutrien Park and are set to kick off at noon.

1 - This will be the second-to-last home weekend for the Huskies in their 2018 Canada West regular season schedule.
 
2 - In Tyler Redl, Nikolas Baikas and Greg Buckley the Huskies lead the conference in goals, assists and saves.

Scouting the Thunderbirds
 
UBC enters the matchup against the Huskies on a hot-streak, after winning their past three matches to sit at a 3-0-1 record. Freshmen Caleb Clarke and Thomas Gardner have stood out for the Thunderbirds, as the two rookies each already have two goals just four games into the 2018 campaign. 
 
Scouting the Timberwolves
 
UNBC will travel to Saskatoon eyeing their first win of the season, as through three games the Timberwolves sit at a 0-1-2 record. Fifth-year forward Francesco Bartolillo has been pacing the UNBC attack, scoring once while racking up two assists in his final year with the program.
