Box Score

The game started off with the Bison firmly in control, and for much of the game they stayed that way. Taylor Dickin rang one off the post just seconds into the game, and just two minutes in, Lewadniuk, left all alone in front, rifled one past Saskatchewan goaltender Jordon Cooke

Moments later, Dudar was in on the act off a pretty three way passing play. Roach replied for Saskatchewan on the Huskies first shot of the game, but soon after, Coates gave Manitoba a 2 goal lead it never relinquished.

Both teams had plenty of practice on the penalty kill on this night in a tightly called game that saw two five minute majors.

With the weekend sweep, Manitoba improves to 14-12-0 and stays close in the playoff race with just two games remaining in the Canada West schedule. The Huskies drop to 10-14-2 and hold on to the final playoff spot.

The Huskies return home to host bitter rival the Alberta Golden Bears, while Manitoba travels to meet the Mount Royal Cougars.
