Erhardt is a University of Saskatchewan graduate from the Edwards School of Business. Throughout her undergrad she interned with the Saskatoon Blades of the WHL, was involved with the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup, and continued on to work for the club for two seasons in various roles which included ticketing, merchandising, and game day operations. Samantha then went on to play a role in launching the Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League in their inaugural season in Saskatoon. She spent two seasons with the team, and was part of their first championship season in the province.
