Adrienne Healey joined Huskie Athletics as the Athlete Services Officer in July of 2008.
Healey, a University of Saskatchewan College of Kinesiology graduate, was not unfamiliar with Huskie Athletics when she joined the administration team. Prior to graduating in 2006 with a major in sport administration, Healey worked for Huskie Athletics as a practicum student, as well as for Campus Recreation as the CoRec Administrative Assistant. While with Huskie Athletics, Healey helped to organize a successful CIS Track & Field Championship at the Saskatoon Field House.
After a brief stop in Calgary to work as a Program Representative for First Aid and Water Safety with the Canadian Red Cross, Healey returned to Saskatoon and the university in September 2007, as a recruitment officer with Marketing & Student Recruitment. In her role, she promoted the university to more than 3,000 high school students across the country, provided academic counseling, helped to organize Experience US! and calculated the Greystone Scholar averages.
The Athlete Services Officer position establishes, administers and monitors all travel and accommodation for the coaches and teams; athlete eligibility and academic information, financial awards and acts as a liaison to the Huskie Athletic Council at their monthly meetings.
