Huskie Athlete of the Week (Feb 10, 2020):

Rookie Carson Lee led the way this past weekend, claiming gold at the Canada West Championships and helping the Huskie men to their first team title since the 2015-16 season.
 
The product of Flin Flon, Man. scored a pair of victories to win the 82 kg division and was also named the conference’s Male Rookie of the Year.
 
The kinesiology major started his meet with a 5-2 decision victory over Nicholas Goleniec of the University of Alberta before making quick work of Connor Pointen from Calgary in a 10-0 victory.
 
Next up for Lee and the Huskies is a trip to St. Catharines, Ont. for the U SPORTS National Championships Feb. 21-22.


Huskie Athlete of the Week (Nov 28, 2019):
First-year wrestler Carson Lee rose to the occasion in his first match on home soil as a Huskie, winning his dual match and helping the Huskie men to the Invitational title.

The kinesiology major started his weekend with a win over one of the top ranked wrestler in his weight class at the Huskies Dual.

The product of Flin Flon, Man. then followed that up by taking on all comers in the 82 kg category to lead the men to the Invitational crown.

Next up for Lee and the Huskies is the Golden Bear Invitational in Edmonton, Alta. on January 11.
