Huskie Athlete of the Week (February 20, 2016):

Fifth-year goaltender Cassidy Hendricks helped lead the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a sweep of provincial rival the University of Regina Cougars in a Canada West women''s hockey quarter-final series.

In Friday’s 4-3 victory, the Vancouver native made 28 saves. A night later, Hendricks stopped 31.

Hendricks and the Huskies travel to Vancouver to meet the UBC Thunderbirds in a semifinal series.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (October 17, 2016):

Fifth-year goaltender Cassidy Hendricks led the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a pair of overtime wins over the University Alberta Pandas on the weekend in Saskatoon. 

In Friday’s 2-1 double overtime victory, the Vancouver native made 26 saves in her 68:28 minutes of play. A night later in a 2-1 shootout victory, Hendricks stopped 29 shots – including 16 in the first period.  The Agriculture & Bioresources student also stopped all three Alberta shooters in the shootout.

Hendricks and the Huskies (3-1) travel to Lethbridge to meet the Pronghorns.
