Huskie Athlete of the Week (Mar. 21, 2022):

Make it back-to-back for Karson Lehner. The product of Prince Albert, Sask. claimed the 300m crown for the second-straight year, as he won Canada West gold with a blazing time of 33.27 seconds.

Huskie Athlete of the Week (Jan. 28, 2020):

Karson Lehner took command of the U SPORTS 300-metre rankings with a dominant performance at the K of C Indoor games, vaulting his way up both the national and program rankings.
 
The product of Prince Albert ran the 300-metre race in a time of 33.74, improving on his personal best of 33.98 which he set last season. The time is only second in the Huskies all-time record books to Cyprian Enweani, who competed in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.
 
Lehner also is now the number-one ranked U SPORTS runner in the 300m, with the next closest competitor sitting holding a time of 34.34 seconds.
 
Lehner and the Huskies will be back in action next weekend for the Panda Challenge. The next time they compete in Saskatoon will be at the Canada West Championships from Feb. 21-22.
