Huskie Athlete of the Week (Oct 16, 2018):

University of Saskatchewan defenceman Kayla Kirwan continued the trend of defenceman supplying the offence for the Huskies women’s hockey team.

The third year from Gull Lake, SK scored late in the game Friday night to lead the Huskies to victory and followed that up with a goal on Saturday for a two-goal weekend when the Huskies swept the Calgary Dinos by identical scores of 2-1.

Kirwan and the Huskies are back in action on Oct. 19 & 20 for games on the road against the Lethbridge Pronghorns
