• The Huskie Track & Field team enters conference competition for the first time this season this weekend as the program hosts the 2026 Sanderson Classic
• Prior to the winter break Saskatchewan competed in the PR First Chance and December First Fest Meets at the Saskatoon Field House, both intersquad competitions
• This weekend will feature 283 Canada West student-athletes from five prairie schools (Manitoba, Calgary, Alberta, Regina, & Sask.) with an additional 364 club athletes taking part for a total f 1,118 event entries
