EDMONTON, AB – The Huskies are on the road this weekend a province over in to compete at the 2024 Canada West Track & Field Championships.
The University of Alberta is set to host, as athletes from eight schools vie for the top spot on the conference podium in both team and individual events.
This year's event takes place at the Universiade Pavilion, also known as the Butterdome, in Edmonton, AB. The Universiade Pavilion is a 64,000 sq ft multi-purpose indoor complex that houses a seven-lane, 200 metre track with Mondo floor surface, long jump and pole vaulting areas, and a two-level bleacher seating with 5,500 capacity.
