EDMONTON, AB – The Saskatchewan Huskies would face their first loss of the calendar year with a 0-2 loss to Alberta in Saturday afternoon's game, snapping their win streak, the Pandas finding revenge after the Huskies broke theirs Friday night.
THE HIGHLIGHTS & THE STATS

Huskies high-ranked goalie Camryn Drever allowed two goals on 32 shots, turning in another stellar performance in the UofS crease. Saskatchewan was outshot 32-19 on Saturday, a stark contrast to the highly competitive and even game the night prior.

Not only did Alberta heavily outshoot and out-chance the Huskies, but they also drew six minor penalties, finishing 1/6 on the power play.

The Huskies would have two power play opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net on either occasion.
THE STANDINGS
With the win, Alberta (19-2-3) moves five points ahead of Saskatchewan (17-5-2) for second place in Canada West. The Pandas, who have won 11 of their last 12 games, sit just two points back of UBC for the top spot in the conference while placing fourth in U Sports. The Huskies find themselves in fourth in the Canada West standings and 10th in U Sports.
