CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos remained undefeated after Sunday's game against the University of Saskatchewan Huskies. The Dinos pulled off a close one, 2-1 versus the Huskies.

Box Score

The Dinos are now 4-0-2 on the season, while the Huskies record is 3-1-2. This win puts the Dinos alone in first place in the Prairie Division.

Maddie Lee scored a pair of goals for Calgary on Sunday, separated only by a second half tally by Erica Hindmarsh.

After scoring three-straight goals to end Saturday's contest, the Dinos got off to a quicker start in their second game of the weekend. Carrying momentum over, Lee picked up her first of the day, beating Cara Santaga on the right side after receiving a pass outside the box from Dominica Wronski. The goal came just nine minutes in.

The Dinos demonstrated a lot of control as well as self-discipline. After Hindmarsh put one high and in to tie the game in the 58th minute, Calgary didn't panic and continued playing their game.

That mentality paid off with just over 10 minutes to go as Troye Flannery brought Lee back into the game.

Lee had been in for less than a minute when she capitalized on another pass by Wronski. Shooting it once again high and from outside the box, Lee's attempt was headed in by a Huskie defender in what would be the game-winning goal.

The Dinos outshot the Huskies 16-7. The Dinos defense held strong all game aiding Chang-Foidl who only had to turn away only two shots on net. Huskies goalkeeper Santaga made nine saves on the afternoon.

Saskatchewan will play the MacEwan Griffins next weekend, September 27-28 in a two-game set.

The Dinos will head out to Regina next weekend, September 27-28 to play a pair of games against the Regina Cougars.
