Box Score The University of Saskatchewan Huskies scored three first half goals on the way to a 4-0 win over the visiting Mount Royal University Cougars on Saturday at Field 7 in PotashCorp Park.

Gillian Pinder opened the scoring for the Huskies in the game's fourth minute. Ali Goodman sent the ball into the box for Pinder after beating her defender to the outside. A sliding Pinder got just enough on the ball to tuck it inside the far post.
Jenelle Zapski scored her first of two goals in the match in the 15th minute. The reigning Canada West First Star of the Week sent a low shot inside the left post from 20 yards out to give the Huskies a two-goal cushion.
Erica Hindmarsh set up Zapski for her sixth goal of the season, using a couple of quick moves to evade a Cougar defender in the corner before sending a cross into the six-yard box. Zapski deflected the ball into the net to put Saskatchewan up three in the 35th minute.
Mount Royal's best chance to cut into the Saskatchewan lead came in the 63rd minute. Jolee Dangerfield got behind the Huskie defenders in the box and sent a low shot on keeper Cara Santaga. Santaga dove to her right to make the save and collected the rebound to end the scoring opportunity.
Santaga made two saves in goal for the Huskies, while Mount Royal Keeper Janelle Chicilo stopped six Huskie shots.
Saskatchewan scored another goal in added time of the second half. Kiara Stasiuk sent a cross into the box for Erica Hindmarsh who slid to deflect the ball past the keeper.
The Huskies host the University of Alberta Pandas (0-1-1) Sunday at noon on Field 7 in PotashCorp Park. Mount Royal travels to Regina to take on the Cougars (1-1).
