Geraldine (Wilson) Taylor, a graduate of City Park Collegiate in Saskatoon, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (Dip. PE, 1941) in 1939.
An outstanding sprinter, she was named the top performer at teh 1939 intervarsity track & field meet. Also in 1939, she won the shot put and finished second in the 200-metres at the Dominion track & field championship in Hamilton.
Geraldine played guard on the Huskiette basketball team for two seasons.
Besides competing in two sports, Geraldine was secretary of the Women's Athletic Directorate.
