Antal Schidlo, a graduate of Saskatoon Technical Collegiate, enrolled at the University of Saskatchewan (B.A., 1967; M.Sc., 1970; M.B.A., 1972) in 1964.
He was a member of the Huskies swimming and diving team for five years. Antal was the WCIAA diving champion for four years and was named to the CIAU All-Canadian team in 1968-69.
He went on to coach the Huskies diving team to three CIAU Championships.
Antal won the Colb McEown Trophy as coach of the year at the U of S in 1970-71 and 1971-72.
