Sherril Roberts, a graduate of Yorkton Regional High School, enrolled at the University of Sasktachewan (B.A.P.E., 1971; B.Ed., 1972; B.Sc., 1991) in 1967.
Sherril was a member of the basketball team for five years, serving as captain for three seasons. The Huskiettes won the Canada West Championship in 1971.
While a student at the University, she was a memberof the Canadian national basketblal team from 1969-71.
She was on Saskatchewan's bronze medalist basketball team at the 1971 Canada Winter Games in Saskatoon.
Sherril was on the field hockey team for three years and was coach of the team in 1971. She was also a member of the cross country team for one year and represented Saskatchewan at national softball championships.
